Do cat c cars have to have a vic check even if the car passed an mot?
Hi i brought a cat c car had the damage repaired (just head light and front number plate fell off) i have took the car for mot and passed with flying colours, does it have to go for a vic check or can i drive around without one, thanks.
You can still drive the car even if it does need a VIC (so long as it’s insured, taxed and MOT’d) but the MOT does not negate the need for a VIC.
