Why is my Dog so obsessed with the ultrasonic scatter sound gun used to deter them away.!?
OK. so i bought this off ebay a year ago:

Its an ultrasonic gun type device, its supposed to make your cat or dog run away from the noise of it once omitted and scare them away, i have tried it on cats trying to pee on my lawn and it works great and they usually run away or scarper, and with most dogs they dont like the sound of it and others arnt bothered and can hear it from over 30 metres away on the special setting that only dogs and cats can hear, thats all very good BUT,
whenever i use it on my dog she goes absolutley CRAZY, she has become obsessed with it so much that she shakes and makes weird noises when ever she even looks at it, her eyes are like shiny pennies and she dribbles, ears stands up and stares at it until i put it away.
now im very very curious as to why this is.!?
She simply doesn’t like it and who can blame her? There is an alternative called Dogchaser on the site below which might be better for her. I’ve used it myself and it is quite good and not expensive.
