When a beam of light shines through a green filter. A red filter is then placed in front of the green filter. What will happen?

No light will pass through both filters if they are narrow band filters. The green filter lets only green light through (wavelength about 500-550 nm) and the red filter lets only red light through (about 620-670 nm). After passing through the green filter, only 500-550 nm light is left, and the red filter blocks everything but 620-670 nm, but there isn’t any of that.

what is the difference in Infra Red Light used for Medical Purpose and the Red beam Light for Pinpointing.?

The Infra Red light is used for reducing Muscular Pain and the Red beam Light is used for Educational Purposes to point out at Maps etc. What is the difference between these to lights. These are both Infra Red Lights or differ in there composition and use.

Both are electromagnetic radiation. The laser pointer produces light within the human visible spectrum (or you wouldn’t see it). Infrared light has a longer wavelength.
