How to make my cat happy again?
My cat is about 7 years old (she doesn’t act old at all). It seems this past week she has been moping around the house. I give her treats, change the liter box, giver her cat nip, groom her, feed her, let her outside when she wants, and she seems unsatisfied!- is there a way to make her happy again? Music? Toys? Specifics please- I miss my youthful tabby!
were taking her to the vet again… maybe i exxagerated, its like shes bipolar, sometimes she super happy and then sometimes shell cry.
A 7 yr old cat is about 44 in human years, so she’s “middle-aged”, and due to slow down some!
However, since this just started this past week, she may be developing an illness. Have you considered taking her for a “wellness” checkup? It couldn’t hurt, and if she IS getting sick, catching it early can only help!
It sounds like you’re doing all the right things, with what you listed, except “letting her outside when she wants” (she may have gotten into something, while out there!).
So….If she were MY cat, I’d take her for a checkup.
