Is there a substitute for wheat germ in cooking?
I want to make Oatmeal Chippers but, our family recipe is hard to read because it is so old. The BigOven website calls for “wheat germ”, but I don’t have that. Is there a substitute?
I think you could use extra oatmeal. I’ve done that in recipes and it worked.
