Training my Puppy with a Puppia Soft Dog Harness?
Has anyone used these?
I am thinking about getting one to help leash train my 4 1/2 month old puppy. He has a collar right now and is not doing very well with it. I was hoping that maybe if it was a little more comfortable for him that he would be better with learning to walk on the leash.

He is a german shepherd lab mix. Right now he is a couple of inches shorter than my border collie. I don’t really want him to pull anything…I just want something more comfortable for him to wear while taking walks on a leash.
How big a dog?
Dogs use a harness to pull a sled and horses use a harness to pull a plow. So if you want your dog to pull something I guess a harness is what you need.
Key words in the above post are “chihuahua mix”. With dogs that small a harness can be a good alternative.
