Teaching the dog to bring the TV remote?
I would like to teach my dog (cavalier spaniel) to bring me the TV remote. He is very intelligent and is able to perform all the basic commands: sit, stay, shake, down, etc… I think he is ready for something more challenging, any tips on how to teach him to fetch the remote for me?
i would not teach him to play with anything that you do not want him to chew up. if he thinks its ok for him to play with it he might tear it up next time he is bored. remotes smell really good to dogs because they use fish oil as a conductor inside them (i loos probably 1 a week to my dogs when i forget to put them up)
